Converting to 64-bit
There's lots of binaries that are only compiled 32-bit. By why is there a 64 bit ls distributed, but not used? Why wouldn't it be invoked via isaexec as the others are? I believe the isaexec overhead on something used as frequently as ls was visible in some performance tests. Given that we don't see any complaints

The amd64 chips can also run an environment that uses *both* 64-bit and 32-bit code. This may be useful for people that want to run a mostly 64-bit system but Pure64 is completely 64-bit. There are no 32-bit binaries in Pure64 and it has no built-in support for 32-bit binaries. You can still run 32-bit binaries

I've seen systems that don't run XP (32 or 64 bit) properly, either. If you want to run 64-bit Windows (or any 64-bit OS), then you would do well to make sure At least a few Windows XP 32-bit drivers work fine under 32-bit Vista. I have a system with a VIA chipset that was running Vista on the integrated video.
